VODER now connects to FreshBooks
Published:
VODER now connects FreshBooks to ChatGPT and Claude. VODER reads supported accounting information and does not add, edit or delete FreshBooks records.
What you can ask
Ask VODER about:
- customer and supplier contacts;
- customer invoices and supplier bills;
- customer payments;
- quote search and exact quote retrieval;
- monthly and quarterly profit and loss, revenue and expenses; and
- trial balance and organisation details.
Example response from ChatGPT
Example prompt: Which invoices are unpaid for VODER Demo Customer?
Worked for 11s
For VODER Demo Customer in FreshBooks, I found three customer invoices with outstanding balances:
| Invoice | Due date | Amount | FreshBooks status |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0000004 | 14 Sep 2026 | A$1,250 | Overdue |
| 0000003 | 31 Aug 2026 | A$1,600 | Overdue |
| 0000002 | 28 Oct 2026 | A$2,000 | Sent |
Total outstanding balance: A$4,850.
One important limitation: FreshBooks/Voder currently reports payment visibility for these as unknown, so I can’t confirm that they are actually unpaid from payment evidence alone. What I can confirm is that all three currently carry their full invoice amount as an outstanding balance, with the first two marked overdue.
More FreshBooks support
We’ll add more FreshBooks support progressively. If VODER cannot answer from the information it currently supports, it will say so.
Free VODER beta
VODER is currently in beta and free for connected FreshBooks organisations. FreshBooks itself is not in beta, and its usual pricing still applies.
If the free period ends, VODER will give you seven days’ notice. There is no charge unless you choose to subscribe.
Create your VODER account
Creating your VODER account with FreshBooks verifies your identity. It does not connect a FreshBooks organisation, start free VODER beta access or a trial, create a subscription, or charge you.
By creating an account, you agree to VODER’s Terms of Service and acknowledge its Privacy Policy and How we handle your data.
